Guidelines for Workshop Participants Seeking Allied Professional Continuing Education Credit
ALTA, California BBS, NASP, TEA
Your attendance certificate serves as proof of attendance for each session you join. By adding your signature (hand-written or typed), you attest that you attended the entire three-hour or 90-minute presentation.
ASHA
CEUs are awarded for each workshop you attend, as reported on the attendee log. Completing the exit survey/evaluation is strongly recommended, as this step allows us to crosscheck your survey submission with the record of attendees and resolve any discrepancies. Total CEUs will be reported directly to ASHA after the workshop concludes.
If you do not subscribe to the ASHA CE Registry, your attendance will qualify for Professional Development Hours (PDHs) but will not be eligible for ASHA CEUs. You must self-report PDHs at the conclusion of your 3-year certification maintenance interval; your attendance certificate serves as proof of attendance if ASHA selects you for a random CE audit.

ASHA CEUs can only be earned by joining the ASHA Registry for an additional fee and having your courses reported to the Registry by the approved provider once all requirements for a course are met. You cannot self-submit hours for ASHA CEUs. If you are not a Registry member, or if you decide not to opt in for ASHA CEUs, your hours are simply called CMHs rather than ASHA CEUs, and you will need to maintain your own record of activities completed.
